It was inspired by this photo of him modelling a t-shirt from my Spreadshop at the BES conference in December 2022.

This article caught my eye because we kept zebra finch when I was a kid. Now scientists have created…RoboFinch! To study how birds learn to sing through audiovisual cues. How cool is that!?

This article really captured my imagination. It suggests that ice age cave art is in fact the original SciArt, recording species reproduction and migration measured against moon cycles. No fancy computer models or PowerPoint required!
